LKN ANALYSIS E.P.E. participated in the study “New assessment of ESIF administrative costs and burden”, commissioned by the European Commission to the Spatial Foresight & T33 consortium. LKN ANALYSIS E.P.E had the responsibility of implementing the project (national expert) for Greece and Cyprus.
The study aimed to create a database in the European Union regarding the administrative costs and burdens of the programmes of the current 2014-2020 programming period, with a common approach for all European Structural and Investment Funds of E.E. (European Regional Development Fund, Cohesion Fund, European Social Fund, European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, European Maritime and Fisheries Fund). In addition, the study compared the database with the results of previous studies and assisted European Commission services with simulations on how possible changes to regulations after 2020 may affect administrative costs and burdens.
